Two injured as Ferrari crashes into luxury Watsons Bay home once owned by finance guru Mark Bouris

A man and a woman have been injured after the Ferrari they were travelling in crashed through the wall of finance guru Mark Bouris’ former home in Watsons Bay.

Emergency services were called to the house on Robertson Pl, Watsons Bay in Sydney’s eastern suburbs about 1.15pm on Thursday.

According to NSW Ambulance, the male driver sustained minor head injuries, while the woman, who was briefly trapped in the car before being freed, suffered more serious chest injuries.

The 56-year-old man and the 55-year-old woman were treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being transported to St Vincent’s Hospital, said NSW Police.

The rear of the black Ferrari is visible from the street, with its bonnet smashed into the home.

Police and Fire and Rescue crews can also be seen at the scene.

An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash has been launched.

A similar model of the car was found listed for nearly $1 million on the second-hand market.
