UPDATE: The First Descendant update 1.2.3 is out now on PlayStation, Xbox and PC.

Among other things, the new update increases the maximum capacity of High-Power Rounds and increases the efficiency of the High-Power Rounds Conversion Module.

Elsewhere, developer NEXON has upped controller sensitivity setting from 100 to 200, and changed the mouse sensitivity setting unit to 0.1. There’s also a new setting option for mouse vertical sensitivity.

ORIGINAL: The First Descendant is getting another big update ahead of the next content drop for Season 2.

With the second major content update for Season 2 just a few days away, Nexon has announced plans to release a smaller hotfix in the days leading up to launch.

The First Descendant update 1.2.3 has a January 7 release date on PlayStation, Xbox and PC. 

According to a social media post by the developer, the update will be available to download and install at around 7am GMT UK time.

Nexon has also given fans a taste of what to expect from the new First Descendant update.

As you can see from the early patch notes below, update 1.2.3 will make improvements to high-power rounds and modules.

That’s on top of new and improved control options for PC and consoles, and “option additions”.

Needless to say, update 1.2.3 will also make a ton of bug fixes on all platforms.
