Sydney supermarket offering $10 off, as well as free eggs, milk, and free delivery for first order

A Sydney supermarket is offering free eggs and milk, and $10 off your first order as well as free delivery on orders over $59 in an attempt to help families save.

Online supermarket, eBest, has relaunched with specials that aim to offer affordable options for essential pantry items.

“While eBest is renowned for its Asian food selection, we take pride in offering a wide array of Australian household essentials,” a spokesperson said.

“For example, Dairy Farmer’s Full Cream 1L milk and various vegetables are all competitively priced.”

As Australian households grapple with rising living costs, there is heightened scrutiny on supermarket pricing.

Significant cost disparities were highlighted by consumer advocacy group Choice in its first quarterly, government-funded report on supermarket prices across Australia.

The consumer advocates sent mystery shoppers to 81 metropolitan and regional supermarkets across the country to check prices on 14 common items.

Although not among the supermarkets surveyed, eBest said it would encourage all consumers to explore online grocers for competitive prices and diverse product ranges.

“We invite customers to explore our offerings and discover the value and variety available at an online grocer like ours,” the spokesperson said.

The supermarket said it was relaunching its website with a special offer for new users in the Greater Sydney area.

The offer includes free premium brand eggs or a 1.5L milk with their first order, coupled with $10 off and complimentary delivery for orders over $59.

“At eBest, we understand the challenges Australian families face in balancing quality and affordability. That’s why we’re offering free eggs and milk as a gesture of support during these times.”
