NRL news 2023 Cronulla Sharks
The Cronulla Sharks have been dealt a massive blow with rising star Kade Dykes ruled out for the season with a ruptured ACL.
In a statement, the Sharks said the 21-year-old picked up the injury during a field session at a camp in Wollongong.

The club said he would now meet with surgeons to “determine the next course of action”.
Dykes made two NRL appearances last season, in the Sharks’ round 21 and 22 wins against the Dragons and Tigers.
He scored his debut try against the Tigers.
He is the son of former Shark and Eel, Adam Dykes.
It’s a further blow to the club’s depth at fullback, following the departure of speedy utility Lachlan Miller to the Knights this week.
William Kennedy is expected to remain Cronulla’s first-choice No.1 this season.
