TMZ caught up with the hard-right Republican Rep. when she touched down in Washington, D.C. on Monday night to ask her if she’d be giving bar owner Quinn Gallagher a second chance.
“Well TMZ, I’m pretty sure you told the world I went on a date with a Democrat,” Boebert, 36, said laughing.

“He’s a wonderful man, and it was a great time to go out and have dinner and enjoy part of a show,” the mother-of-four and grandmother-of-one told the outlet.
“It was mostly a lovely time … Nothing to do with anything that anyone reported. Honestly, he’s a private citizen and we peacefully parted. Great man, great friend and I wish him all the best … we have peacefully parted.”
Adding that “ultimately all future date nights have been cancelled,” Boebert said she picked up an important tip from her night out with Gallagher.

Boebert, who joked that she is her to provide “levity” to the voters, said her constituents back in Colorado, for the most part, understood that she was enjoying a night out, and didn’t hold her behaviour against her.
“There’s a lot of folks who are certainly understanding and understand it (was) my personal time.”
During a night out last week to attend a family-friendly musical performance of Beetlejuice, Boebert was caught on surveillance video at a Denver theatre vaping in her seat and fondling Gallagher, who groped her in return.
The fiery conservative was booted from the show after fellow audience members complained she was causing a disturbance with her singing and phone use.
As they were being ousted, the two made comments along the lines of “do you know who I am” and “I will be contacting the mayor,” according to theatre representatives.

According to The Denver Post, Boebert yelled, “Do you know who I am?” as staff tried to usher the couple out.
A pregnant patron told the outlet that Gallagher offered to buy her and her husband a cocktail to make amends after Boebert called her “a sad and miserable person.”
Following the altercation, Boebert tried to downplay the incident in a social media post: “It’s true, I did thoroughly enjoy the AMAZING Beetlejuice at the Buell Theatre and I plead guilty to laughing and singing too loud! Everyone should go see it if you get the chance this week and please let me know how it ends!”
In the meantime, though, online sleuths at the Daily Mail discovered that the GOP lawmaker’s date was a Democratic co-owner of Hooch Craft Cocktail Bar, which has hosted drag shows in the past.

She also slammed the use of drag queens as recruitment tools for the U.S. military.
“Do our military leaders understand that China and Russia see this stuff and prepare accordingly?” she said earlier this year. “We need a non-woke military. Better yet, an anti-woke military.”

On X, Boebert’s followers weighed in offering her advice next time she is feeling frisky in a public setting.
“Use the hand in the popcorn tub like a respectable adult Laurie,” one person joked, while another questioned Boebert for claiming she didn’t know Gallagher was a Democrat. “She let him get to second base and didn’t know his party affiliation?”
Meanwhile, others claimed that the media was being hypocritical by not focusing on U.S. President Joe Biden’s missteps, including one instance where he was seen giving a young girl nibble kisses.
Boebert’s estranged husband Jayson weighed in on her behaviour, asking people to “to show grace and mercy.”
“I was unfaithful to Lauren in so many ways,” he wrote on Facebook — adding, “It upsets me that everyone believes she left me over fame or a new lifestyle. That is far from the truth.”

Describing his soon-to-be ex as an “exceptional wife, mother and now grandmother,” Jayson told Boebert, “I stand behind you. You are the hardest working person I know, selfless and overflowing with love.”
Boebert, who filed for divorce in May after 20 years of marriage, reacted to his overture in a statement to the Daily Beast.
“I am appreciative to hear of Jayson’s sincere comments. This is a new season for us both grace and prayers for our family are welcomed by all,” she told the outlet.
Before ending her interview with TMZ, Boebert said she’s left Gallagher in her rearview and is…
