Variety recently unveiled the covers of its “Actors on Actors” lineup, and one pairing has the internet up in arms: Kardashian and Oscar-nominated actress Chloe Sevigny.
The major quibble people had was that the reality star, who was chosen to dabble in Ryan Murphy’s latest instalment of American Horror Story, is not only sitting among some of Hollywood’s elite but some of the industry’s hardest working actors and breakout stars, too.
“It’s ‘Actors on Actors,’ so what the hell is Kim Kardashian doing there?” one person asked.
Another seethed, “Kim K is not an actress. Just stop indulging that damn family.”
Others called the publication “embarrassing,” “a joke,” and “unfair” to the people “who have put in years into their work.””

Many felt bad for Sevigny being paired with Kardashian, calling it “disrespectful” to the Feud and Big Love star.
The theme of Kim’s storylines on the last two seasons of The Kardashians has been how busy she is, from appearing in fashion shows, taking care of her four kids with ex-husband Kanye West, and studying for the bar exam, which she plans to take next year.

And it seems as though Kardashian was hit hard by the acting bug because also in 2025, she will headline her own series.
In the most recent episode of the reality show, Kim and mom Kris Jenner received a visit from Murphy, who pitched the star and her momager his idea for a Kardashian-starring vehicle.
A quick scan on IMDB proves people in the industry do like her acting chops, as the “Untitled Kim Kardashian Project” is the real deal, with the tagline reading, “Follows a successful divorce lawyer and the owner of an all-female law firm in Los Angeles.”
Kardashian’s other acting credits include PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, PAW Patrol: The Movie, Tyler Perry’s Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor, Drop Dead Diva and CSI: NY.
She also played herself in Ocean’s Eight, 2 Broke Girls, 30 Rock and Last Man Standing.
