Both singers, who hail from the US, will battle it out with Aussie coaches Guy Sebastian and Kate Miller-Heidke to find the contestant who will become The Voice 2024.

The new season of the popular talent show will start at 7.30pm (AEST) next Monday night on Channel 7 and 7plus.

Before the first contestant even sang a note, both were immersed in the local culture, setting up base in Sydney for the duration of the show.

Both have been to Australia several times, touring and travelling around the country.

“I love it, it’s great. People are really happy here, friendly,” Lambert tells 7NEWS.com.au.

“The weather’s been really nice. It’s getting a little colder now, but overall, it’s just been … a nice little break from the States.”

Adam says his go-to spot is Bondi Beach and “seeing the ocean” and “relaxing”.

“I like the kind of outdoorsiness of it all.”

The singer, who has been performing with British band Queen since 2012, said that another highlight had been his trip to Mimi’s restaurant in Coogee.

“That was good food! That’s a good restaurant. The food’s amazing.”

As for LeAnne, she says that after her last visit to Australia, she had “sworn off” after a disastrous 28-hour long return flight home.

“It’s been a while. I actually swore it off years ago because the last time I toured here was like 30 days of insanity and then I lived in Nashville at the time,” she says.

“So we flew from Adelaide, maybe to Sydney, Sydney to LA, LA to Nashville. It was like 28 hours.”

The Can’t Fight the Moonlight singer says that by the final flight, she was in tears on the plane.

“I was like, ‘I’ll never do that again’. And so now I live in Los Angeles, it’s a much easier flight, a different time in my life, truly enjoying being over here.”

The Voice Australia premieres on Channel 7 and 7plus on August 19 at 7.30pm (AEST).
