Eva Fehren Celebrates 10 Years With Its First Manhattan Boutique

“It has always been a dream of mine to open a brick-and-mortar location for Eva Fehren,” says Zuckerman, “and for the opportunity to coincide with our anniversary feels really serendipitous and fortuitous.” The new space reflects Eva’s studio and design aesthetic: clean, linear, and largely black and white. It lets the pieces shine, including the new creations that also heralded in the decade the jeweler has been in business. The 10th-anniversary collection includes larger stones than Eva Fehren usually works in: “I focused on rare, unusual cuts, and strong angular shapes to capture this feeling of movement, time, and evolution,” says Zuckerman.

A native New Yorker, Zuckerman also considers setting up shop in her hometown as the ultimate homage. “In the early days of the pandemic, so many people left the city that it made me really want to celebrate New York and put our roots down in a new way in the heart of my native city.” Zuckerman spent the past year and a half connecting with her customers in new ways, leaning into custom designs, and personally becoming a mother. “Nothing makes you feel tougher than having a baby,” she says, “[and] nothing makes you feel more resilient than surviving as a small business during a pandemic.

Eva Fehren opens today and is located at 620 Fifth Avenue in New York City.
