Dream Home sisters Taeler and Elle came head to head with their builder Luca on Tuesday night’s episode.
The lead builder of the Northcote home in inner Melbourne called out older sister Taeler for “barking” at him and for closing access to an essential part of the property.
This week, the Victorian sisters were tasked with creating the home’s heritage facade, working on the landscaping and whipping up a dream front porch.

Naturally, the side of the house is a high-traffic area for a renovation such as this one, with all the tradies and other teams carrying essential supplies through.
Eventually, the girls had had enough, taking matters into their own hands and banning anyone from using the walkway.
This forced everyone to use the other, narrower, side access, leaving them rather unimpressed.
“We’re shutting off this part of the garden, and if you go through it there’s going to be a fine of painting and cladding,” Taeler told the other teams.
“If people get a bit angry, don’t be surprised,” contestant Jacinta said of the ban.
She said of the alternative narrow walkway that it was a “bottleneck, it holds everything up, it is very difficult … and time-consuming”.
Elle said she “doesn’t care” the other teams were upset.
Luca told producers the girls had taken “massive control of the front”.
“This job is bigger than a couple of plants … she needs to be patient.”
‘I’m over it’
To make matters worse, there was a clash of timing between the painter Luca had employed to paint the entire home and Taeler and Elle’s landscaper, with both tradespeople attempting to work on a similar part of the facade.
Taeler confronted Luca about the clash, asking him and his painter to vacate their space.
“Can this be done in the afternoon? She asked him, to which he said, “No”.
“This isn’t a conversation Luca, you can’t shut down!” she told him.
Luca responded: “I’ve had this conversation with you 10 times.”
A frustrated Taeler told producers the conversation was “us being told what to do” and was not a matter of working together.
Luca continued: “You’re taking complete control of the front, you’ve blocked access.”
“This is not a productive convo,” Taeler quipped, a sentiment with which Luca agreed.
“We’re not getting anywhere because you’re barking at me,” he said.
“I’m not going to have any more conversations with you now, that’s it — done, sorry,” he added.
The builder was then seen talking to producers, telling them: “What is going on, she is screaming at me, she needs to be patient … I’m over it.
“I’ve had this conversation a million times, I’m not going to speak to her again, I’ve had enough.
“I’m not going to talk to her again.”
Meanwhile, Taeler debriefed with her sister Elle, explaining, “We’re not talking to Luca. You and I don’t talk to Luca”.
“That bad,” Elle asked, “Jesus Christ”.
