Conspiracy to implicate me in false case, will complain to Amit Shah: Nawab Malik
Maharashtra cabinet minister and NCP leader Nawab Malik has now alleged that a “conspiracy” to implicate him is afoot ever since he became vocal about the Mumbai cruise drugs bust case.
Addressing a press conference on Saturday, Nawab Malik claimed some unidentified persons were following him and carrying out surveillance of his family members’ activities.
“While I was on a trip to Dubai, some people caught two persons in a car, taking pictures. We will complain to the Mumbai police commissioner and find out who’s laying this conspiracy. I have evidence as well which we will reveal soon,” said the senior NCP leader.

On Friday, Malik tweeted photos of two men whom he alleged were doing a “recce” on him. All this is being done to trap him in a false case like Anil Deshmukh, he charged, referring to the former Maharashtra home minister’s arrest in a money laundering case.

“People are framing me like they framed Anil Deshmukh. It’s not like we are scared, but what’s the intention. We will prepare a technical draft in two days and submit to Mumbai police commissioner. Trying to frame a leader in a false case is a wrong act,” said Nawab Malik.
He went on to add that he will write to Home Minister Amit Shah to draw attention towards officers of central agencies who are allegedly using private agents to register complaints over email.
Through a series of media briefings since early-October, Nawab Malik has accused NCB Mumbai zonal director Sameer Wankhede of carrying out a “fraudulent” raid on the luxury ship Cordelia Cruise on October 2, allegedly letting off certain select persons or his friends and specifically “targeting” film personalities like Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, to get maximum publicity with little recovery of drugs.
He has also accused the NCB officer of faking his caste and birth certificates, and claimed that Wankhede was part of a plot to “kidnap” Aryan Khan for ransom.
