Tuesday is a huge day in the pro football industry.
Around 1,000 players will lose their jobs ahead of the NFL cutdown deadline.
Teams must reduce their rosters to 53 players from the training-camp maximum total of 90 by 4 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. PT. After most players go through waivers, teams then can form their practice rosters.
The 30-plus Canadian NFL players are of great interest to CFL teams, who could make significant boosts to their rosters for the second half of the seasons after the top league makes cuts.
See below for the statuses of Canadians on NFL rosters as of this past weekend. Each player’s NFL team, hometown and CFL rightsholder are listed in brackets.
CFL rights information comes from 3DownNation.
