Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have officially listed their Beverly Hills mansion amid speculation that the pair is headed for divorce.

According to PEOPLE, the palatial California home was publicly listed this week — just over a month after reports emerged that the couple were preparing to unload the property.

After the pad had been on and off the market for five years, Lopez and Affleck scored the place in May 2023 for $60,805,000 — well below its previous owners original $75 million asking price.

According to the Daily Mail, real estate site Zillow added photos of the grounds, which features a 5,000-square-foot guest penthouse, courts for pickleball and basketball, parking for 80 cars and more, in June. Realtor.com called the home “one of the most iconic estates” in Beverly Hills.

The official listing says the home blends “cutting-edge technology with timeless elegance.”

In its Zillow write up, the couple says the home was “recently renovated with the highest level of quality” and boasts “a stunning zero-edge pool that artfully frames the expansive estate and its picturesque views, offering a haven of tranquility amidst lush surroundings.”

Celebrity real estate agent and Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles star Josh Altman, who is not involved with the sale of the home, told PEOPLE that there will be a lineup of potential buyers. But not everyone will get a chance to look inside.

“There’s always going to be people who pretend [to be potential buyers] because they just get a kick out of seeing a house or touring a house, or they want to see a famous person’s house,” he said.

“I assume that the access is going to be extremely limited,” he added. “It’s going to be people that are going to be as pre-qualified and [have] proof of funds as you could ever imagine before they get access to it.”

Last month, an insider told PEOPLE that neither person was happy with their pricey purchase.

“Ben never liked the house. It’s too far away from his kids,” said a source close to Lopez, adding that “the house is way too big for her” as well.

Earlier this week, Lopez seemingly addressed the status of her marriage to Affleck by celebrating the anniversary of her breakup song Cambia El Paso on Instagram.

“Happy Anniversary Cambia El Paso,” she wrote, paying tribute to the single that was released back in 2021 in the wake of her breakup with retired baseball slugger Alex Rodriguez. 

Translated from Spanish (via PEOPLE and USA Today), the lyrics include: “He doesn’t deserve to have her in his arms,” as well as “Her life is better now without him…she doesn’t need anyone to be well / She does not fail, she does not fail.” The track also includes the lyrics, “She’s staying single. Now she makes love to whoever she wants.”

In a 2021 interview on SiriusXM, Lopez said the song was “about change” and “not being afraid to take the step.”

Lopez and Affleck started dating in the early aughts and were engaged in 2002. But the twosome buckled under the constant media attention and called their wedding off in 2004, with each moving on with new partners. Lopez went on to have twins with singer Marc Anthony, while Affleck went on to father three children with actress Jennifer Garner. Both unions ended in divorce.

After Lopez split from Rodriguez in April 2021, Affleck, who had broken things off with Ana de Armas, re-entered the picture for a second time with friends close to the duo referring to him as “the one that got away.”

Twenty years after they first got together, the twosome became husband and wife when they were married in 2022.

But in May, reports started to surface that the couple had hit a rocky patch with sources telling Us Weekly the pair are “having issues in their marriage.” 

Late last month, PEOPLE reported that the Oscar-winning filmmaker had moved his belongings out of their shared home while Lopez was vacationing abroad.

According to the Daily Mail, Lopez’s family has urged the two-time Grammy nominee to break things off with Affleck for good. 

“Jennifer’s mom told her, ‘Cut your losses and move on to avoid getting any deeper in this mess,’” a source told the publication. “She told her that she’s wasted years believing that Ben was some kind of knight in shining armor. He was not the person she built him up to be. It’s taken too much of a toll on her and because of this she has lost sight of who she is and what she stands for.”

Despite celebration the Fourth of July apart, the two have been spotted wearing their wedding rings, and a source tells Page Six that Lopez is still “smitten” with her husband. But after the singer cancelled her North American tour, she is spending her summer vacation with family and friends.

“Nothing can break her spirit,” a source said. “She wants to have a summer full of fun and laughter.”
