Ticketek has also confirmed fans will now be provided with a queue number, as soon as the queue opens.
The queue feature provides hopefuls with a level of transparency and is a helpful indication of where they are sitting in the queue, in real-time.
Ticketek advises fans to start preparing early to avoid last-minute issues. Here are the top preparation tips.
- Update Your Account: Ensure your Ticketek account and payment details are current. Double-check your login information, as you’ll need it to finalise your purchase.
- Co-ordinate with Friends: If you’re buying tickets with a group, discuss and agree on your preferred ticket price category in advance to streamline the purchasing process.
On the day of sale
To improve your chances of scoring tickets, follow these key steps:
- Log in early: Visit the Ticketek site at least 30 minutes before the sale starts. During this time, you will receive a queue number in the Ticket Lounge, which will help you gauge your position and wait time.
- Complete CAPTCHA: Be prepared to complete a simple CAPTCHA (security question) to confirm you’re not a bot. Avoid using VPNs or multiple browsers during this process, as they can trigger security measures that may hinder your access.
- Watch the countdown: Your queue number will decrease as other fans complete their purchases. Listen for the bell that will signal when it’s your turn to access tickets.
- Enter early: If you log in after the sales have commenced, you will be placed at the end of the queue. To avoid this, enter the Ticket Lounge before the sale begins.
- Stay timely: Once you reach the front of the queue, quickly proceed to the ticket purchasing page. Keep an eye on the timer to ensure you complete your purchase within the allotted time.
