Combs, 55, was apprehended in September and is facing federal charges that include racketeering conspiracy, transportation to engage in prostitution and sex trafficking.  

In the wake of his arrest, over a hundred of alleged victims have accused the rapper of sex assault and abuse that occurred at his celebrity-filled bashes. But during an appearance in San Diego this week, Smith shot down speculation he participated in Combs’ infamous parties.

“The world we’re in right now, it’s really hard for y’all to discern what’s real and what’s true, you know?” Smith said in a clip shared by TMZ.

“I’ve been seeing y’all’s memes and stuff. I’ve seen the memes. Some of the stuff is funny. But I haven’t addressed any of this publicly. But I want to say this very clear: I don’t have s*** to do with Puffy, so y’all can stop all the memes. Stop all of that bulls***.”

Smith joked that he doesn’t “even like baby oil.”

“I ain’t been nowhere near that man, ain’t did none of that stupid s—,” the Oscar winner added. “So, whenever y’all hear it, if somebody say that, it’s a damn lie.”

Jamie Foxx was another celebrity who recently shot down talk that he was connected to Combs. “I left them parties early. I was out by 9. Something don’t look right. It’s slippery in here,” he says in his recent Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was… special.

Raids on Combs’ mansions in Los Angeles and Miami earlier this year uncovered drugs, videos and more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant. Agents also seized guns and ammunition, including three AR-15s with missing serial numbers.

Combs’ lawyer said the reason law enforcement officers found 1,000 bottles of baby oil was because his client was into threesomes.

“They called them ‘Freak Offs,’ but back when I was a kid in the late ’70s, they were called threesomes,” attorney Marc Agnifilo told TMZ in their documentary, The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment.

Combs has denied allegations that he abused women and men for decades and silenced his victims through blackmail and physical violence.

But U.S. Attorney Damian Williams said Combs “used the embarrassing and sensitive recordings he made of the ‘Freak Offs’ as collateral against the victims.”

“He maintained control over the victims in several ways, including by giving them drugs, by giving and threatening to take away financial support or housing, by promising them career opportunities, by monitoring their whereabouts and even by dictating their physical appearance,” Williams said.

In the days after Combs’ arrest, photos emerged on social media showing such notable names as Jennifer Lopez, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jay-Z, Ashton Kutcher and others attending his lavish “White Parties.”

In a resurfaced clip from a 2014 episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Khloe Kardashian spoke about going to one of Combs’ events where “half the people there were butt naked” and running into Justin Bieber.

During a September 2019 appearance on Hot Ones, Kutcher was asked by host Sean Evans about the events hosted by Combs. “I’ve got a lot I can’t tell,” the That ’70s Show star said. “Diddy party stories, man — that was some weird memory lane thing.” 

A source told US Weekly that Denzel Washington allegedly lost his cool at one of Combs’ soirees more than 20 years ago.

This week, rapper and entrepreneur Jay-Z was named in an amended civil lawsuit that was first filed by an anonymous accuser, identified only as “Jane Doe,” in October.

In her claim, the woman accused Combs of drugging and raping her when she was 13 years old as Jay-Z and an unnamed “female celebrity” participated.

But the 24-time Grammy winner called the claim nothing more than “blackmail.”

After the woman admitted making “some mistakes” in her account of the allegations in an interview with NBC News interview that was published Friday, Jay-Z said “True Justice is coming.”

“Today’s investigative report proves this ‘attorney’ (Tony) Buzbee filed a false complaint against me in the pursuit of money and fame. This incident didn’t happen and yet he filed it in court and doubled down in the press. True Justice is coming,” Jay-Z said in a statement shared with USA Today.

With Combs facing more than 150 civil lawsuits, the I’ll Be Missing You hitmaker was slapped with three more claims on Thursday from men who alleged he drugged and raped them.

As they have done every time new allegations emerge, attorneys for Combs said the claims are without merit.

“These complaints are full of lies,” the lawyers wrote in a statement shared with the Associated Press. “We will prove them false and seek sanctions against every unethical lawyer who filed fictional claims against him.”
