Find all your favourite classics but with a twist, think one-pan undone lasagne, crunchy chipotle chicken traybake and harissa spiced beef flatbreads.

“Everyone wants dinner on the table, fresh ingredients, mixed simply that looks like a restaurant meal,” Donna tells Best Picks.

As a busy mum-of-two, Donna understands that it can be tricky to find time to cook easy and delicious meals.

That’s why the first chapter of her new cookbook is entitled, “Faster than takeaway meals”, and she says busy people are at the forefront of her mind when writing her recipes.

Some of Donna’s toss-together dinners include clever spins on recipes for your air fryer, including the perfect crispy buttermilk chicken and sticky pork belly that is super tasty and big on golden crunch.

The Aussie cooking icon says that she’s also aware that when it comes to the current cost-of-living crisis, that it’s important to shop seasonally as it is much cheaper.

I was lucky enough to try Donna’s Lemon Pesto Spaghetti that she cooked for me and let me tell you, it was sublime.

The recipe is in the cookbook, is super easy and will become a staple dinner in my household.

If you prefer a sweet treat, Donna has plenty of decadent desserts and baked goods that can be whipped up quickly.

I will definitely be making her milk chocolate fudge cake with whipped chocolate frosting this weekend.

And if you love entertaining but are looking to save time while still impressing your guests, Donna has everything from crispy pork belly with pears and sage to a limoncello tiramisu recipe.
