A mid-size shopper was delighted when she tried on an Amazon dress and said it fit well and is perfect for all occasions in summer.
She bought the GRECERELLE Summer Midi Dress, which has 15% off at Amazon for a limited time, bringing the price from £27 down to £23.72.
The tea dress features elasticated puff midi sleeves and a tiered skirt to add volume, and also a cinched waistline for a defining shape and taller appearance. Available in popular patterns like animal print, small mixed florals, polka dot and plain colours, the garment also fits for sizes from UK8 to UK24.
The Amazon shopper bought a blue leopard-print version in size 2XL and was surprised by the quality, praising: “This animal print dress is really very beautiful. The dress is really good quality. I usually wear a UK 22-24. This dress fits me, it’s true that it’s a little tight on my tummy, but that’s not the fault of the product.
“This is a good motivation for me to lose weight because this dress is beautiful and I want to wear it. I recommend it, the price is right!”
Another customer got the popular “Lily Green” version of the dress and said it “gives the quality of £150 high street rivals“. She added: “The beautiful small white and lime green flowers with red centres allowing you to wear all these colour accessories. a lovely cool summer colour.
“It needs a first iron as delivery packing is tight but a material like that will not easily crease. It is also the latest fashion and in some Oxford Street shops at the moment, this style and quality sells for upwards of £150.”
Some bought the dress in the “Floret Coffee” hue and said they were impressed by the silky fabric that gives a cooling sensation. They also mentioned that the lightweight fabric is great for summer and not see-through so you don’t have to wear a slip dress underneath.
“Love this dress is so comfortable to wear and looks classy too, you can dress it up or wear it casual with flat shoes. The material is lovely and soft, the dress arrived very creased but was easy to iron so no problem there. I like it so much I also bought it in black & white equally as nice, I am a size 18 and bought XL fits perfectly,” a five-star reviewer commented.
But not all customers were happy with the ironing work, with one saying: “The dress and colour is lovely. Unfortunately the material is too wrinkly.”
Another penned: “Fabric is quite different than expected, more viscose and shiny – didn’t bother to send it back as it was so cheap.”
But a man got this dress for his wife and got her seal of approval, adding: “It’s a perfect comfortable fit for her and it’s nice and long in the body which she likes and has a flouncy feel to it. She thinks it will be ideal for the summer. Gathers in nicely above the waist to give it more shape (her words). She is a tall medium and it fits fine. She’s very happy, so I’m happy.”

The £39.50 dress has a slimming A-line cut as opposed of the Amazon tiered tea dress. But you can choose either petite, regular or long in lengths.
