Pop culture knowledge apparently isn’t one of Jessica Jones’s superpowers.
Krysten Ritter, who played Marvel superhero Jessica Jones in a series of the same name from 2015-19, irked some Celebrity Wheel of Fortune fans when she was left stumped by her winning answer to a puzzle on the game show’s May 6 episode.

Ritter, who also had a starring role as Jesse Pinkman’s girlfriend, Jane, in Breaking Bad, had all of the letters at her disposal when “Travis and Jason Kelce” popped up as the answer in the “Family”
category.

“I don’t know who they are,” the exasperated actor said after mispronouncing their last name, while still getting credit for a correct answer.
“They’re football players,” Toronto-born Schitt’s Creek actor Sarah Levy, who was also competing, replied.
“Oh, that’s why,” Ritter said.
Levy admitted, however, that the only reason she knew about the Kelces was because of Travis’s much-publicized romance with singer Taylor Swift.
“Sadly, it’s the only reason why I know — is it Travis Kelce, the football player she’s dating?” she said.
“You’ll read about it in your local newspapers,” host Pat Sajak said.

The slip-up was simply a bump in the road for Ritter, 42, who won $48,250 for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, the Daily Mail reported, with Levy competing for the FSHD Society and fashion designer Christian Siriano, the third contestant, supporting GLAAD.
That didn’t stop some game-show fans from ripping the actor.
“Watching Celebrity Wheel of Fortune and I just want to know what rocks these celebrities are living under,” one person tweeted, via the Daily Mail. Added another: “They had no idea who Travis and Jason Kelce are (and) I’m dying at how lost they were.”

Ritter had some supporters, though.
“She should be celebrated for this,” one social-media commenter wrote, while another added that this “kinda makes me like her.”
The Kelces have been soaking up the spotlight for much of the last year with Travis’s love life and a second straight Super Bowl victory with the Kansas City Chiefs gaining plenty of attention, while Jason recently announced his retirement from the NFL after 13 seasons with the Eagles.
They also have a popular podcast, New Heights, which has 2.39 million subscribers on YouTube alone.
